Text Box:     A major part of maintaining employment is proper nutrition. Goodwill has formed a Food Pantry that provides assistance in two ways. Every third Wednesday of each month, a Care Bag is prepared for well over 100 families who have completed an application. Additionally, all of our locations provide emergency food assistance to anyone that comes to us with a letter of need from another organization, agency or church. If our staff can determine homelessness, then food is given immediately.
Our Food Pantry is supplied with donations of non-perishable food items and personal care products directly from the community, to our stores, donation centers and partnering collection centers at several businesses, schools and organizations. We do not participate in any regional food bank at this time. During short donation periods food inventory is purchased from area retailers with funds donated specifically for this purpose.
